Hello Divinity Family,

My children and I have been away from our church family for quite some time.  Every time I say to myself that this will be Sunday that I go back and worship, something holds me back.  Since my separation and subsequent divorce my children have been on a rocky and emotional rollercoaster.  There have been revelations that have hit me so hard that I felt like I was hit by a ton of bricks, yet I'm still standing.  I am still in prayer for myself; however, I am asking my Divinity Family to pray for my strength during this time of transition.  I am asking God to continue to reveal to me the path in which he wants me to go.  If it's one thing I've learned from my church family, it is to move myself out of the way and let GOD take control.

Mother Lennon introduced me to a wonderful part of scripture and I still hold on to it today, Philippians 4:13"I can do all things through God who strengthen me".  I know the Lord is my rock and my salvation.  He has brought me this far and I refuse to believe that I am going to fail.

I love you all.  Please pray for the strength of me and my children as we are truly going through.

Sincerely,

Sis. Courtney Morrison (formerly Hutchins)

Praise the Lord My sister,

It"s truly a blessing to hear from you. I'm praying that we The Divinity Family will see you Sunday God willing.
There is a scripture that God has given me which I will share with you. Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. Oh how true!
Every day we face challenging decisions that make us wonder if we are making good choices. I wonder what i should do next, Lord. But when I turn to the word, I never need to worry about that, so God is already telling you where you shopuld be and that is in the house of the Lord, where your family is. Love is waiting for you there. i truly know what it is like to not be in the house of the Lord and want to go but then that (something comes up LOL), turn to the word of God and push thorough this is what we are taught at Divnity, do I always do it no But to God be the Glory for his mercy and grace that I made it back and received my blessing. Come and be in your blessed place my sister. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. God promised to never leave no forsake us.

God willling I will see you Sunday

Love Cheryl Q your sister in Christ
